Big Sky Golf Club sits in the Pemberton Valley with Mount Currie standing straight ahead — the kind of view that makes the ceremony spot an easy decision. Couples marry on the private fifth green, then move into a clubhouse built for exactly this: post-and-beam charm, a deck made for cocktail hour, the mountain still there through every window. Big Sky's been hosting weddings in this valley since 1994, long enough to know exactly how a day like this should move — dogs included, if that's part of the plan. We show up knowing the same thing, and go looking for what's happening at the edges of it: the walk down to the green, the group photo nobody quite got into place, the laugh caught before anyone's ready for it.
